Re: Eiersholt and Seasons
I'm trying to finish up winter, but there was a lot left to do - so this ended up being a rather long episode. But lots going, getting logs cleared out, pigs collected, machines repaired, and manure hauled out.
Re: Eiersholt and Seasons
It's been a while (being busy at work) since the last episode, but we're finally getting on with the spring tillage!
Re: Eiersholt and Seasons
Getting some new buildings up as well as interesting in some machinery while it's a very wet spring:
Re: Eiersholt and Seasons
It's spring time on Eiersholt, and seeding operations get underway. We've still got a decent amount of money from last year's harvest, so I also look into expanding the farm this year.
Re: Eiersholt and Seasons
Spring work is continuing with more seeding. But it's also time to prep fields for maize planting, slurry on the alfalfa, and getting a tractor unstuck!
Re: Eiersholt and Seasons
Time for some spring silage

It was a long break - trying to figure out how to best incorporate Precision Farming, and to continue having fun on this great map - but here it is - we're moving to a different area:
The tutorial part is about where to find your seasons animals and stored grains if you are wanting to bring them over to a new savegame.

Thank you - I am really glad it was of use!
Re: Eiersholt and Seasons
We are back, and the custom built farm is starting to take shape.
The first year with Precision Farming active meant that a bunch of soil data has come in (at great cost!), and now it's a rush to get the ground prepared while there is still time to get seeding!

Re: Eiersholt and Seasons
The new farm needs a lot of work to get adequate fertiliser and ground preparation done. The fields in the area is absolutely huge, so in this episode, I split them up into more manageable areas:

It's been a while, but finally back on the farm and getting the first cut of grass in on the new farm!
