FS19 Autumn Oaks Farms DFMEP

Post by DEERE317 »

Started a new save on Autumn Oaks DFMEP by Diniz Farms. Love the looks of the map and its realism features so far.
Gramps decided to retire out of farming fully and pass the farm on down. We have some triticale, rye, and wheat that was planted in the fall by him to give a start this year but no other crops planted, animals, or stored feed as he sold out of all of that a few years ago so we will have to grow/acquire all of that as we go. But we have enough equipment to at least get started and fill most needs.

So to start:
Here's the land we have.
Image
And our equipment.
Image
2 Kicker wagons, 2 gravity boxes (probably will add some grain hauling capacity come fall), and a TLX Logistics 30' gooseneck trailer with a dovetail.
Image
A Hesston 4900 (with molasses) 4'x4' LSB and 3 Meyer RT220 chopper boxes. A parkland accumulator is potential addition later on but for now this is it.
Image
NH FP240 Chopper with a pickup and 3 row corn head, little Salford VT, NH forage blower, Kuhn 5 shank inline ripper with spring trips, 5 bottom IH plow, 14 wheel Kuhn rake, JD 300 corn picker with 3 row head, Kinze 3600 with 15" interplants, NH 353 grinder mixer, 348 baler hidden behind stuff, NH TR96 combine
Image
JD 6410 2wd cab and Kuhn Knight auger mixer wagon.
Image
Hardi sprayer, Massey 240 w/loader, Case SV280 175th edition
Image
Deutz Allis 9190 our big hoss and my beloved 7810.
Image
Ol' 1086
Image
TLX 2020 6.7l dually and the Wilson Ranchhand trailer
Image
6x4 diesel Gator (with cab which will be pulled off shortly) and my favorite machine here, the 6410 mfwd cab loader tractor.

Script/gameplay wise, we have Global Company, Precision Farming, Realistic Weight, REA, Unit Convert lite, Maize Plus (and CCM extension), Courseplay, Seasons, and stuff I'm probably forgetting.

Also looking for crop rotation recommendations, currently think corn, tritical or wheat, beans, and repeat but not sure.

First job, spreading fertilizer on all of our growing fields to maximize yield.
Image
The Wilmar was sold and replaced with a Vicon pendulum spreader because it was narrow and a piece of junk (its tires crushed crop, GPS couldn't calculate a working width other than infinite so something was busted)

Plan is to mow and chop all of the Rye and Triticale for silage and combine the wheat for it's straw.

Continuing to spread lime and fertilizer. Put in 2 small Alfalfa fields with the 6410 and 8350 drill.

And started cutting our forage crops and first cut of hay.

Started cutting Grass, triticale, and rye today. The plan is to buy a small herd of Holsteins once we have some haylage fermenting in the tower silos from all of this. In with all of this I also am needing to get wheat harvested soon, soybeans and corn planted, and finish up getting equipment bought. The NH 313 was suffering from some frame issues (REA and small tires) so was replaced by a Fella Ramos mower.

We purchased 60 1 year old Holstein cows, meaning that for the first time since grandpa sold the herd there are cows on the farm.
Image

The Deutz Allis 9190 and NH FP240 are getting a workout now, have an extreme quantity of chopping to get done.
Image
The 1086 currently is getting to play road runner, the 6410 mfwd probably will join it once raking is done.
Image
Red and green getting the job done.

See, I would tell you to get with the times and play FS22, but you're on the one map that would keep me on FS19

I would stay with the times but the 317 decided to eat my wallets contents. Lol Oh well, At least the 317 is running and useful again

Currently am really liking this map, suffers from the 30fps when you look at the farm problem, the slightly obnoxious high detail textures that render goofy, and a bit bland but that’s about all I don’t like and is my normal complaints about most US maps.

Haha, yeah, not perfect visually, but the functionalities make it all worth the play. FS22 is barely playable for me, so I revisit AO sometimes when I get burnt on FS22 modding
