What exactly do you mean by "unassigning"? Are you trying to reassign it to another function? Can you try deleting yoru inputBindings.xml file and retry?

Can you also make sure that you are using the latest version of the Logitech Gaming Software/Logitech Gaming Profile and the software detects your peripherals?

I'm pretty sure that I have the same issue with using a Logitech Driving Force Pro. I seem to recall seeing the same thing when I watched some wheel setup videos when I bought my wheel. I think that that keybinding is protected so that you can always get to the menu and quit the game. I had to assign the button that I wanted to use in the second keybinding.

Might be able to change it in the actual keybinding.xml file.

I have the same problem. Because of another issue I did a complete uninstall and re-install with patch 1.3 so the game is fresh.

I have tried deleting and / or manually editing the inputbindings.xml file but it persists.

Unfortunately the G27 will only work with the 2010 version of the Logitech gaming software and with it being 3 generations behind the current models I doubt they will be updating it. Maybe the Giants partnership with Logitech could address this ? The G27 is still a great wheel.

I have a profile for FS19 in the Logitech software and it recognizes it because I can start the game from the Logitech software.


In FS19 when I press escape on the entry to delete it I get the message in the bottom right that this cannot be assigned to a gamepad.

I will post my log file and some screenshots when I get home but there are no entries related to this.

when I click on the 3 this is what happens. message says Gamepad input can't be used for this action

Its not an issue for me. I am just happy the wheel works give the outdated drivers we have to use.

I don't have this problem with my G27, but then I don't use Giants LogitechG27.xml which has been a bit farcical from day 1, I use my own version which kicks the illogical "logical" ordering into touch and gives me ALL buttons etc working on both wheel and gear shifter inc the gear positions without problems remapping any button.

Easy to fix. Make a copy of the file inputBinding.xml, for save keeping. Open inputBindings.xml and look for this line:
