I know its gonna be super expensive, also i wonder how much money we will have when starting a farm with nothing on it, that's gonna be a challenge, what to buy ECT, ECT... But maybe in the near future some can shed some light on that subject.
Let's see if I can help.

First: How huge a plot of land (we call it farmland here) is, depends on the map and what the modder (or we) intended. There might be huge plots and small plots on a map ect.

As for the build stuff
Current version:

Easy Mode: You have everything build up for you
Normal mode: You have nothing but a huge amount of cash and can build your own farm
Hard: You have nothing and veeeeery little cash.

(it won't be easy/normal/hard but I don't know the new names, yet)

As Community Manager, he's had his hands full dealing with us with FS17's DLC's, but now... now it's a whole new ballgame. The next iteration of the FS series, now... it gets vicious.

I've released Battlefield games in the past. I think I can take a punch haha. Will be fine.

will the weather have more effect on certain things like if you spread solid fertiliser, it would only be effective if it had the right amount of rain to wash it in??

Nope. We won't go there. In the end it's a game that should be fun for people all around the globe, even if they have no clue about farming. Making it too complex won't help- We always try to find ways to make it fun for everyone, however your idea might be a bit over the top.

So, does this mean... we can still choose the normal (Easy, Medium and Hard) settings for the economy, apart from the difficulty level of our starting capital? I love playing on Hard, but... when Role Playing with me fiancee, I tend to set the game to easy so cash flows in quicker. :)

Although, if I may ask... Lisertan. Will there be any form of GPS in the game? Even if it's a watered down version of the GPS mod. It's by far my most favorite mod, apart from Seasons and Follow Me. :)
