If I open GIANTS Editor 8.0.0, close it after 10 seconds. There's nothing I can do with it.

If I open GIANTS Editor 8.0.0, close it after 10 seconds. There's nothing I can do with it.

They did not release for download because they are fixing it, it is not working properly. They could not stop 8.0 from going out with the hard copies of the game though.

As to why your crashing, try re-installing it. Install it in the default directory not one of your choice. That's about all I got. But when they release the editor officially then your issue may be fixed by them.

I've tried it, but unfortunately it doesn't work. I'll have to wait until GE is fixed.

Well it is BROKE and IF it comes up it can and most likely WILL error at some point AND the export with files is non working so there it is but seach the external mod sites and you will find it all over

When the new Giants Editor becomes available, it will be here: https://gdn.giants-software.com/. This is the only official site for anything modding related directly from Giants Software. I wouldn't trust many of those external mod sites if I were you.

Why not? Giants has so far not given us GE 8 because it is 'buggy' but they included it in the Collectors Edition DVD. I downloaded it from one of "those sites" and its working fine for me.

They dont have to do anything you tell them to, are you their boss? Didn't think so, show respect towards other people, otherwise begone with you. And uhh, that's not a great first post, the game is the main priority right now.

If you don't care how buggy just do a google search for the Giants editor 8.0 and you can find what you want. Meantime let Giants fix bugs then release a dependable GE editor

Exactly. I have GE 8 and it is useless without ability to export. I am cool with waiting for bugs to be fixed first. Priorities . Besides, I have notepad ++ which means I can have a blast modding non graphically until the editor gets fixed
