Ravenport Rain Deluge

Post by FarmerJeff »

A storm in Ravenport has now lasted 31 hours and counting. Began Day 3 at 6am, it's now Day 4 at 1pm.

On another topic, weeds are not growing anywhere. I've tried turning weeds off and on as some suggested without any effect.

36 hour storm? Damn, my house would be under water by then, literally, happen to us twice.

Yep lived in PA and got a 5 inch per hour rain storm that turned our dirt road into a river about 3 feet deep lucky for us we were on a bit of a hill.

Is it just graphical rain or can you still hear it and see the rain forecast? I have a bug with seeing the rain when it's really stopped, I have to save and exit to make that stop.

The rain falls visibly and audibly, and the rain forecast icon is continually visible. I've stopped and saved over the course of two days several times, with no change. Running mostly at x5 speed and sometimes at x1. Makes for nice ambience, if nothing else, listening to the rain fall. At half an inch an hour, Ravenport has received over 15 inches of rain, with no letup in sight.

I think this must be Oregon, not California, in spite of that Catholic mission on the top of the hill.

You are lucky. I've got 61 hours in Ravenport and not a drop has fallen.
