Farming Simulator 19 crash on startup when connected to internet?

Post by Schpitfrik »

I have bought a copy of FS19 on Steam and i have bought the limited edition box of FS19 and both they won't startup(loadscreen comes up and immediately returns to desktop). The weird thing is that the game only crashes when i have an active internet-connection. When i disable my LAN and WiFi connections in my fresh installed Windows 10 Home x64 then the game runs without problems in single-player mode. When i start the game in single-playermode and i plug in the LAN-cable or enable WiFi the game crashes almost immediately or when i choose to play online(multiplayer). I have updated all my drivers, my Graphics driver and my LAN and Wifi driver. I hope that someone here on this forum can help me solve this problem. I will post the specs of my Acer laptop below:

Acer Aspire ES 15 (ES1-533-C22B)

Intel Celeron N3350 @ 1,10Ghz
4gb DDR3L
256gb SSD
Intel HD Graphics (driver version 25.20.100.6373)(31-10-2018)
Full-HD 1920x1080 LCD screen
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168(driver version 19.51.15.3)(3-9-2018)
Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller(driver version 10.7.107.2016)(7-1-2016)

When there are more specs needed i can give them...

Here is the logfile.txt when i start the game Offline:

Hey,
seeing that your hardware is far below the minimum requirements, I'm actually slightly surprised FS19 starts at all.

The only real solution I see here, is to get a new (gaming suitable) PC.

Thanks for your reply, but how is it possible that the single-player works without problems and the multiplayer doesn't? When the hardware is below system requirements then singleplayer wouldn't start either? Correct me if i'm wrong...

Ok, I'll correct you:

Perhaps when the additional networking requirements for multiplayer are also added in your system which is not up to spec - and is probably only just playing the single player version - it is pushed over its technological edge and it crashes...

Hi guys

Found a solution you may try to solve this problem.

Go to the folder Farming simulator 19, open the "shader_cache" delete contents inside it

Problem solved!

please open a separate tread for your own problem.
add the Log.txt of the last gamestart in the first post and we will check them.
Then we can say whats the problem is.

Hi All !

Same problem here...
As long as I have an active Internet connection, the game won't start (crash at the loading screen).
I've tried to replug the Internet connection once the main menu is displayed - and it crashes as soon as I try to access ModHub.

I have the late 2019 HP Spectre X360 - might be below the minimum requirements but works as a charm when lauched...

Also tried to delete the "shader_cache" content without success.
Nothing particular in the logs.

It's a bit of a pain !
