can't use mouse to place placeables.

I'm using a g29 and trackir. I can't use my mouse to place the placeables. Tried turning off head tracking, and it still doesn't work. I'm on 1.1.3 and drivers are up to date. Need some ideas. Also deleted input bindings xml and restarted computer before loading game.

I'm on pc, single and multiplayer, only have Giant's mods.

Also can't fold the Massey combine

Update
Tried the 1.2 beta and still no mouse for placeables or terforming. Makes it hard to teraform.
