PS4 Pro: Fix for 3K graphics bug is now live

PS4 Pro users can now set the supersampling resolution to Quad HD / 3K again!
A patch has been deployed fixing the graphics issue. Download version 1.04 via the PSN (similar to PC version 1.2.0.1) now!

But I couldn't find anything to say as it shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Plus we still don't have 4K support which as far as I remember from Stegei's comments, we will never have.
This is a step backwards from FS17 and you know I don't take "console hardware" as an answer to that.
So, I guess it is good to get the "reduced" feature which we lost with an update back

No, not really. Because my PS4 Pro's cooling system is just a touch above idle when I'm playing FS19 at 1440P whereas it was screaming when I was playing FS17 at 1440P.

Which clearly means there are no performance issues whatsoever with FS19 on PS4 Pro and it should easily be able to handle 4K.

If I combine this with that weird bug of black textures I think I can assume there is something else wrong with the graphic engine at higher resolutions other than so called "performance issues". I'm of course talking about PS4 Pro only.

I think they discovered what is wrong with the 4K pretty late so, they had to remove the 4K option instead of solving the issue.

If this is an issue that can be fixed, I'm sure they will fix it. If not, I guess its just bad luck for FS19 and for us.

What really bothers me though is not being told the truth.
Because I was too close to investing about € 1000 on a 4K monitor just before the release of FS19.
You know, you don't usually think a game goes backwards in terms of already available features.
So, if I had bought that monitor I would have been banned from the forum weeks ago for obvious reasons...

Giants said back in July that they decided on 1440 for best gameplay performance. I have ps4 pro and 49" 4k tv and enjoy my 4k experiences. This is a letdown since i really didn't have a issue with 4k on 17. Like you said maybe the engine "Improvements" lead to some issues Giants simply couldn't iron out in time.

Glad to see this fixed for sure. I just recently bought a 27" 4k IPS monitor to use with the PS4 pro and would love to see the option for 4k on this game. My games that are running in 4k or some form of it look absolutely stunning!
