Combiplow 3M Vs. Combip. 4M

Post by jpm1 »

did someone calculted this. i bought a third decompactor (idk how you say in English) to increase my ploughing speed of my big field. but i was surprised to see that my little tractor was going much faster with the CB 3M, than my big tractor with the 4M. 12 km/h Vs. 8 km/m. somebody has calculated this already. i could replace my 2 4M, by 2 3M. and in case you wondered my big tractor, is coming out from repair, thus is almost new

Was the 4m one used already, and therefore in need of maintenance? I've experienced redused working speed if the implement is in need of repair, regardless of the status of the tractor.

Ploughs, cultivators and seeders seem to need repair a lot more often than other items. I guess as they are effectively digging up the ground they are doing more work than a fertiliser for example?

Sorry PC only right now, perhaps there is an official port from FS17 in the queue of MODs being tested (I doubt this is the official port).

17 km/h that sounds unrealistic isn't it?

You were able to use it on a back attacher or front in FS17. The problem I have is that it's a convert of a BSM mod, probably done without permission...
I assume people don't use Seasons, unless they say otherwise.

i love the mod. not commenting on the fact if it's stealed, or not. but i changed to 14km/h, and it works great. having a long plow is very nice
