guidanceSteering / GPS
guidanceSteering / GPS
Hallo zusammen,

Re: guidanceSteering / GPS
Sofort neueste Version runterladen … Danke euch!
Edit: Also hier läuft doch noch etwas falsch …

@letsdance

Weder Strg S noch Alt C bewirken was.Loss wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2019 7:27 amHabe aber keine Probleme, mit Alt C wieder alles zu aktivieren und dann das Menu wieder zu nutzen.letsdance wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2019 11:26 am Sofort neueste Version runterladen … Danke euch!

Re: guidanceSteering / GPS
People comparing GS with the old GPS are doing something wrong in the first place.
The aim of GS is to make a realistic mod.. not to mimic something that does not reflect reality.
Also without feedback within the scope of the project I am not able to improve.. so every constructive feedback is welcome.
You have the option to save the tracks.. like you do in real life. If you don't save the tracks you indeed do have to setup a track every damn time.
In the future you also will have a strategy method called A+heading.. which basically allows you to set an angle without having to drive the initial track.
So:
- By default it's turned on
- press alt+c 1 time -> turned off
- press alt+c again -> turned on etc.
If it's not working I wonder what you're doing, else make a bug report about it on my GitHub with a proper reproducible case.

Think you miss the whole point of GS lol.Waldeule wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2019 12:34 pm Spielt halt ohne GPS oder Funktionieren Eure Augen nicht um ein Feld Abzuernten^^.

With the last commit on github you indeed can toggle the WHOLE gs functionality with alt + C.

Thanks for the great work. I like your guidanceSteering more than the old GPS from FS17

First of all I want to thank you for your great mods, especially the Guidance Steering. One of the best mods for FS19. Without this, it doesn´t make sense to play anymore.
For sure, I want to show you my little improvements (I don´t expected, that somebody is interested about this)
A few values like the "showGuidanceLines"-state, "lastLoadedTrackId" and the current workingwidth are stored now in the savegame
I disabled the automatic deactivating at the end of the field, because it always disabled the GS, if I entered the next line. Maybe it´s an opportunity to make it switchable in the HUD.
I added a drivelinecounter, because I created an Drivelinescript, which is used in all of my swoing-machines. The current line is shown near by the driving hud (I marked it on the picture). I also added in the HUD the settings for the drivelinecounter. You can choose the drivelinedistance, which fits to your Sprayerwidth. I also give you proposals for the drivelinedistance, depending on your current selected workingwidth. You can also enter an offset for the first driveline. If the current line is a driveline, the number is getting green.
If the GS is activated, the GuidancLines are disabled, because I always use the outdoorcam and it looked better for me without the lines.
Thank you for your interest and thank you for your mods.
Re: guidanceSteering / GPS
Yeah, i still need to add that at some point.. keep postponing doing that ^^.monteur1 wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2019 9:29 pm Hello Wopster,

In my feature branch I am currently working on headland control, you can toggle the mode and enable turning etc. But currently working on Seasons has more priority so progress is a bit slow.
Nice that you adapted it to your own use. Good sign I guess. I do calculate the current lane tho, and tried to gather some information already that can be shown in the HUD that is planned later.monteur1 wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2019 9:29 pm I added a drivelinecounter, because I created an Drivelinescript, which is used in all of my swoing-machines.
