I did a video of this map on my YouTube Channel: https://youtu.be/vOQI0dTgDAw It's not a 4X Map, but it does have some pretty big fields, and that Midwest US feel. I like that the fields and map aren't flat and have quite the undulations. I also liked that the animal enclosures given at the start in New Farmer Mode, are actually spread out across the map a little ways and aren't just placed at the Main Farm.

Looks like it is already released elsewhere so I doubt it will be coming to modhub.

Maybe a Moderator can step in and explain, why this is? Why can't it go through mod hub testing?

If the Mod has been publicly released by an Author on any site before it has released on the ModHub, then Giants won't accept it for certification and inclusion on the ModHub. They pretty much want exclusivity on an author's mod, which means if they want to publish it on the ModHub, they must not upload or distribute it anywhere else. It's there in the ModHub Guidelines and T&Cs when you create your account. Another good reason for Giants choosing to do this is to ensure compatibility between players. If a mod is released on the ModHub all players downloading it get the same version, and any problems or support issues can be easily looked into. If some players download the mod from other sites, they may be getting a different version or an edited/altered version of the mod which then makes it harder to offer support if issues arise. So as Hunter Farm is available on quite a few mod sites, it won't be eligible for inclusion on the ModHub.

Hmmmm I honestly didn't realise how limited console users are in fs until I moved to Xbox for fs19. I played fs17 on a very subpar laptop with severe lag at minimal settings but the experience was awesome thanks to all the mods that were available from other mod sites or direct from other modders. The map size and slot count was something I was blissfully unaware of until now, "Klienhaus" was my fave fs17 map, the forest was amazing and you could create fields that just went on and on and on and on some more. Think I need to get a PC n switch back so I can enjoy fs19 fully, but until then I'm gunna enjoy what I got n be happy with it.

Giants wanted too many changes for the map author in their testing review. It was just less of a hassle for him to just release it on his own.

This has happened to several maps so far, Giants may want to rethink some things if they actually want better modded maps around for console users

Might be that those changes were also dictated by Sony & Microsoft who put additional restrictions on Giants, the game and the mods for the game. Might be a bit unfair to throw the blame at Giants, when they do provide a nice document of guidelines when you log in to your ModHub account, (if you're an aspiring modder and create one) which tells you what can't be included in a mod or what would need to be changed to make sure it could be considered for console.

As someone who recently had a mod sent back to me by Giants for review, I can understand the frustrations the author has, but by seeing the request for those changes as a 'Hassle' and deciding to release his mod/map privately all he/she/they have done is deny the entire Farming Simulator Community whether on PC or Console the chance to play their work, and by it not being available on the ModHub, a lot of people may never find it, play it and the author's work may never get the spotlight or attention it probably deserves.
