Giants: Please add place anywhere
Please for the love of the game add place anywhere, we (especially on consoles) need it. The invisible placeable collisions are extremely obnoxious, if you want the new placeable system to be great all you have to do is add this feature.

Agreed, we don't need all that space around our buildings. Another thing, the auto leveling needs to go, if we dont level our terrain properly and end up with gaps under walls or humps in sheds that's our fault we don't need it done for us. (personally I would prefer it as not all shed floors are flat)

Id second this.
Re: Giants: Please add place anywhere
On PC i cannot imagine game without this mod. The building placing is so easy after this mod. No problems at all.
I do not understand why this areas are needed anyway.

Or at least some indication as to what it is the building is colliding with.
Re: Giants: Please add place anywhere
Yes definitely agree that the Place Anywhere Mod should be patched into the game proper, especially for the Console Players. I recently fired up the Pacific Northwest Map on my PS4, sold off the starting farm buildings and silo. Then annoyingly found I couldn't place any new objects back in the starting farm area because apparently everything "Collides with another Object". This is more annoying as in the case of the Silo, I sold the Giants Default One that came with the map and was trying to place an actual smaller one that is on the ModHub, so how can that possibly collide with anything when it was smaller then the original one?

I’m going to have to agree! Placing anything on console is a pain
Re: Giants: Please add place anywhere
This is one of the biggest reasons I ended up also purchasing the PC version.
Re: Giants: Please add place anywhere
There's normally a texture extending out from the building (cement, grass etc.).SJ_Sathanas wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 11:01 am Or at least some indication as to what it is the building is colliding with.
So you have the texture size from the existing building, plus the texture size from the building you're placing.
Just a guess though.
