Implement work speed
How do I increase the work speed of various implements, such as, plow, seeder, sprayer, etc? I do alter some mods for my personal use, but have not been able to change the work speeds. Thank you in advance.
Re: Implement work speed
In the mods XML file search for a line like this:
Change the number to whatever you like.
But that is quite obvious, how did you missed it
Code: Select all
<speedLimit value="15" />
But that is quite obvious, how did you missed it

Re: Implement work speed
I did change that value, but in the field the speed limit was still the same. I also read somewhere to change max force value, but that also did nothing to change the work speed.
Re: Implement work speed
Hmm, that is weird. I just tested it to be sure and it is definitely working for cultivators.
It should work for all implements that are limited in speed in the game right now.
What kind of implement you want to adjust? I know there are some kinds that do not have a speed limit ingame, even though it may be defined in the XML:
https://www.farming-simulator.com/mod.p ... _id=131643
https://www.farming-simulator.com/mod.p ... _id=122258
For those the max working speed is limited by the required pto power in combination with a suitable tractor.

Re: Implement work speed
working on the Agrisem 4MX plow. I will try other implments to see it will work on them. Like you say, it may just be this certain tool.
Re: Implement work speed
This no longer works. Tried it on various implements and the working speed just stays on default.Eische wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 9:38 pm In the mods XML file search for a line like this:Change the number to whatever you like.Code: Select all

Re: Implement work speed
Weird
It works so for me.
One thing, this value is the maximum possible speed.
If the implement needs more power or work upwards, it can be slowly.

Edit: there are mods like "working speed" (or so), they override this value. Have you such one?

Re: Implement work speed
I was about to say the same about the required horsepower maybe being the issue.
Not used it myself but i just found this one on the modhub.

Re: Implement work speed
is the vehicle worn out? needs repair? make sure it is fully maintained. also in the xml, you can update the wear time to take longer to wear out so speed is not affected so fast depending your game play style.
