My first mod submitted to Modhub

Post by asyvan »

Just uploaded my first mod to Giants Modhub. I have no idea if it will at all be considered, but it would be really cool if it was.
Wish me good luck. :blushnew: :geeknew: :zunge:

Thats cool, i have my fist mod in testing too, mine is a water standpipe

Image

I made it because i was fed up with the slow fill times of existing mods on the Xbox, so i hope it passes for both, i have others in the pipeline, but until i get them working i'm keeping them secret too!

Oh and i get migraines too, so i know how you feel

I use the multi filling station for alot of stuff since it fills so fast. Having a fast water source will be great.Best of luck with your mod passing.

When i play, i like to do things as near as possible to how you would in real life, so having water coming out of a silo where your keeping slurry and manure just doesn't seen realistic, but i will us it for dry goods such as seed and fertiliser (grains during farm setup!)

Sometimes you have to compromise if the tool you need is not available, hence why i got into modding

I place the multifill in a distant hard to reach location,, therefore the convenience comes at a price of effort
Aussie who loves himself a 7790 JD cotton picker, 100ac was most i got off in one day. (22.5hrs)
Currently a 300 ac irrigated beef farmer with Hereford Angus x.

From my experience irl liquids take a long time to transfer but for the sake of gameplay and just simply gettinitdone I would love a fast filling watersource... Thank you sooo much

I guess I wasn't very clear on that I only used it for seed, fertilizer, lime everything else I use either the pallets or even the big bags when I can. The lime station is really slow to fill.

I actually calculated how long it would take to fill up a 30,000 ltr tanker with a 60mm standpipe which would be 20min, however we don't really work in real time when you consider that crops can grow in 12 days on a six day season (when introduced). so i looked at what was in the game already, and i figured that if i dripping tap can fill a tanker in around three min, then i could make mine flow a little faster or i could make a bigger Bore hydrant, as i had already modelled it, i decided to tweek it a little.
