From what I have just seen on the Modhub this looks like an outstanding piece of work. I can't wait to get home and give it a spin!

After selecting the tractor in the shop, the game turns off.

Yes I have noticed that some People can't use the SynTrac:

- go to the graphic-options in the game and choose "high" for Texturresolution
That did the trick for me. Just switched to high leaving everything else untouched (I run my game on custom medium settings).
Now I can finally use it.
Thank you for the hint *thumbsup*

It does look interesting. I will give setting texture resolution to high a try and see if I can get it to work.

Setting texture resolution to high fixed the crashing issue for me as well. Now I am able to enjoy the vehicle.

One note I have noticed so far. The adapters sometimes get stuck on the top of the front or rear end when detached and can end up being dragged along until they fall off or are scrapped off.

I have found another crash bug. This one froze the game.

I had the 3point hitch adapter mounted on the back. This also had the ball and pintle hitches on it.
The crash occured when I backed up and attached a tipper trailer.

I alos noted that one of the mouse controles will move the pintle hitch up but will not move down?

The Freeze sounds like an issue with other mods.
Specially the Manual-Attach mod is a critical mod they can made many different problems. And not only with the SynTrac

Yes mouse Control is something special too, but I never see tha only one direction ist working. Can you move the arm with Keyboard oder stick?

In my tests mousecontrol sometimes uses 2 Tools at the same time, or nothing goes. But this schould fixed.

The Bug with dropped tool is known and I have made a Video of it. Look at my first thread.

It looks like a really interesting tractor concept.

Do you plan on building more of the tools for it? Found some interesting items on the net about it.

Tool Ideas;
  • Crane Arm With variable tool heads, logging gripper, pallet fork, tree cutter, stump grinder, hook, bucket
  • 5th wheel plate attachement for 6x6 extension tool
  • flatbed attachement for 6x6 entension
  • hook lift 6x6 entension tool
  • narrow tires
  • herbiside sprayer attachement
  • goosneck hitch attachement
Perhapse change the 6x6 entension to be its own tool that attaches like any other tool for the vehicle. Might make dealing with wheels a bit easier maybe?

ITS - SynTrac - Tool Dismount

Post by Krahazik »

Been playing around and have made a few discoveries and figured out where I was going wrong with dismounting tools.
Writing this here in-case any one else has trouble with the tools appearing to hang onto the vehicle.

Part of my mistake was moving to fast. I had not noticed the movement of the bottom plate, which acts as a stand for the tool when not mounted. It takes about a second or 2 for the plate to fold down and support the tool. So steps for dismounting smoothly.
  1. If you have the 3-point hitch tool attached, lower the lower arms all the way down first.
  2. Detach tool.
  3. Wait about 2 seconds for the bottom plate to fold down and support the tool.
  4. 'Open Cover' on the tractor. This will open the front/back tool slot covers and lower the tractor.
  5. Wait for tractor to finish lowering. It takes a couple of seconds for the tractor to transition.
  6. Slowly pull away from the tool.
My mistake was hitting detach and immediately trying to drive away before everything was ready.
