Automatic Combine Auger Swing Out

Am I crazy or is this actually a problem and it’s really frustrating?

No worries here Guil, I couldn’t be more calm. As for it being the only way, that’s why I asked him to point me in that direction. I’ve never seen any other way done and while that doesn’t guarantee there isn’t another way, I believe I have enough experience in agriculture that would allow me to say highly unlikely. I would love for anyone who has seen harvesting without cutting the end rows first to show me as I am very curious as to why.

Where I am from almost all the farmers plant with 3pt. Mounted planters and alot of them don't plant end rows they will just leave about 15 to 20 feet to turn around, but when harvesting they will always have to cut at least one pass on each end of the field to have enough room to turn the combine around.

Intriguing, a 3pt is a typical standard these days as it can easily control depth and how level the planter is. We don’t see too many drawbar players anymore, especially new ones. I still don’t quite understand why you would need turn around room but maybe it’ll be one of those great mysteries in life.

^^ the farmers over here prefer the 3pt. mounted planters because most of the crops are planted on top of bedded rows. The few farmers that do plant end rows do a whole lot of bouncing around when turning around on the rows on the end that are bedded up the opposite direction.

It would probably be easy to create a mod with this feature ... problem solved ... everyone that wants the feature can have it!

I would like it!
