Cricket - To all you Aussies out there...

Post by BoxTunnel » Fri Aug 02, 2019 7:45 pm

...Just wanted to say I was one of the majority of Englishmen applauding Steve Smith's innings yesterday.

The bloke has done his time and returned to Test cricket with one of the greatest Ashes innings of all time. I am ashamed that some of the crowd were booing, but real cricket fans were in awe. Well played Mr Smith! I did think the sandpaper waving was quite funny though! :biggrin2:

I think with the Ashes almost over has had the last laugh eventually - a classy act throughout the season in my opinion. I feel there may be a bit of a purge of the English team, mind you the Aussie top order need some talent imported as well!
