getting rid of fertilizer pallets

Post by ilovetrains »

I unloaded a sprayer that had fertilizer to use it with herbicide. I want to sell the pallets, where can you sell pallets?

You can’t except on Mercury Farms map. Use them to refill the sprayer next time you need to fertilise?

If you don't mind spending a little to get rid of them the best way is to lease a sprayer, then load the fertiliser and return the sprayer.

If it were me I'd just keep them. I've got a bay in my garage on the Smoky Mountains map that is just assorted pallets of seed and fertilizer. You can always use them later.

Why not let the sprayer run dry instead of unloading the left overs?

Not good for the environment, and it is expensive too.

Personally I store it and use it later ...

If you don't like pallets hanging around you can store the fertiliser in the trailer mod or I think it goes in the fertiliser & seed silo mod (can't recall if that's dry only)?

There are a few mods around for storing dry and liquid fertilizers, herbicide and seeds. For liquid sprayers there's even a couple of mods by Holger Sengstock that will unload directly from the equipment in to storage without dumping them in pallet form first.

I tend to use a lot of this stuff now to save me bumbling around with the pallet physics.
