You can tell by how many lobbies are on multiplayer everyone is getting bored with FS. I’m sorry I don’t need 20 different baleforks, can we get some maps and seasons folks!?

they basically only get one shot to upload seasons so it has to be dang near perfect before it will hit consoles
Just curious, what is the reason for this? Is it because of the massive amount of code that is involved? Or why wouldn't they be able to update it once it's on modhub?

Pretty much yes, that's the reason.
For a mod involving scripts Seasons gets an exception because of the high demand among the players. Looks like they made a compromise to be able to bring it to consoles...only one shot.

My guess is that there might be big money involved, paid to sony to allow giants to upload it. So updating costs extra money.

Second option: giants found a way to upload it while staying under the radar. Updating the mod might expose them.

Just some random guesses, might as well be total bs though...
