The start time is either adjusted by seasons or is map dependent because Ive been able to go to sleep earlier than 1900 on shorter days
We've adjusted the times at which you can sleep depending on the time of year yes
That is great news. I haven't experienced winter since the updated version :).

I have to disagree ... farmers (typically) end their year at harvest, which in temperate zones is late summer/autumn, so the start of the year is just after that in autumn/winter: ploughing and cultivating and these days autumn drilling for the "winter" crops, so probably every farm ever sold (in the UK) actually changes hands in October/November when the fields are in a "just harvested" state.

From a new game/new farm perspective it means that the first year is a panic to get everything cultivated and sown in spring, with consequently late harvest and a similar but less panic next year.

I have a question. Just started a new game and it was snowing !!
Is that normal? From day 1?
Is it because the weather in Seasons 19 is very unpredictable and you never know what will happen?

Has anyone has snow from first day ?

The alternative is starting in the winter when you can't do anything. So spring is fine as is.

Sure! You start in early spring. Temps are still cold so snow can happen. Every savegame has different weather.

Just encountered Snow in Day 2 of Summer on the Lone Oak Map with the Montana GEO. I never thought I'd see snow in Summer. In fact so far summer temperatures have been way lower then Spring. Looking on the Forecast Screen Autumn gets warmer then Summer, but is going to be wet for more days then dry, which could make harvest a nightmare. Unfortunately the weather forecast doesn't extend far enough for me to see the winter prediction.

Hi guys,

awesome mod. I would no longer play without it :)

I have an issue on the Old Stream Farm map. The trees that I plant are not growing after many days (over 15 days so far). I found this in a posting you guys did on August 2nd, saying that it would be fixed in the next release. However, since they are no versioning in the posting, I do not know if the bug is already in the current release or will be in the next one.

Here is the thread:

viewtopic.php?f=963&t=150107

Here is the entry that I am talking about ... It was written down by "The Seb"

These are the things we have already fixed and will be in the next update.

first set of fixes:
...
- Fix tree growth time. [#196]

So question is. Is the fix already in and I have another bug, or it should be resolved in the next patch? Any logs gathering or tests I should do?

Thanks!

Ho NICE!!!! This is exactly what I wanted. Always thought that 10 days was ridiculous, considering the value of the wood. GOOD MOVE GUYS! You guys rule. Cannot wait for the next release.

Guys, not sure where to post this, so here I will. Would it be possible for you guys to put in the UI the number of animals you have in your pen (unless I miss something). Keeping the count of the number of animals we have within a pen is a serious headache. If the info is already there please let me know where :)
