Image File type?

Post by ThatCanadianGuy »

What file type do you need to post a picture on this forum?
I have tried ever file extension I can think of and every one of them comes back with the error "ERROR Invalid file extension"

I am using the "Attachments > Add files" buttons under this text box

You need to use the Giants image server.

viewtopic.php?f=852&t=88819

That supports most image types.

Alternatively, you could also use a site such as photobucket or imgBB to upload the images to and then copy the link to the photo and paste it in to the img tag.

PB used to be really good but it is complete hot garbage now, and they make you pay for it. I am in the process of closing all my accounts there.

Yeah, I noticed that after I posted, I haven’t used it in years as I started using tinypic but i saw that that was also no longer an option since they shut it down.

The image server is there instead of needing to use external services that may decide to disallow hotlinking like photobucket have done.
