Congratulations to Giants

Post by Richard Dower »

On the awesome Claas DLC, despite my issues and comments regarding the game, this is a quality DLC.

Long awaited and often requested, its finally here. Thanks to all the hard work of Giants staffers, I have no doubt this will be their best selling DLC to date.

It's here?
It still says I can't download it until Tuesday.

This will be the first DLC in a while that I have absolutely no interest in. Now if it was a different shade of green like it should have been.... I digress.

Why should it have been To Deere I mean John Deere. We have more than enough of that in the game now. Yes ok maybe a forage harvester. Why not Have Some stuff that is not in-game by default?

Any why even post to say you'ur not getting it? That's like telling everyone that you are not going for a wee :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

You do know Deutz Fahr and Fendt are green too right? Drawing wrong conclusions is easy ;)
I assume people don't use Seasons, unless they say otherwise.

I suspect this Platinum edition will be a flop... no new features, crops, maps or equipment that is not already available in the game under different brands. If I didn’t have season pass, I wouldn’t pay to get this. I am biased as Claas equipment does not interest me.

Is it me or is it mostly Americans who can’t be bothered with CLAAS?

That's probably a decent guess, but also incorrect ;)

It'll probably do well in Europe, but I also have very little interest. Giants couldn't even be bothered to put NA wheels (ugh, banded duals) for the combines and tractors other than the Xerion.

Not that I have anything against claas, but I too decided I am not interested enough in this dlc to buy it. I never see any claas equipment where I am from. Would of been alot more excited for something like a versatile dlc.

Maybe because they are sold in NA as well.

I'm a big a John Deere guy as anyone else. I'm in the states. And I'm super pumped for Claas. Considering they are becoming a bigger presence year after year over here. Our local Case IH dealer often has used Claas Jaguars in the lot.
