On the West Coast, 9 days seasons...

Got the MF 7499 out for some powerharrowing and ploughing, with a sense of urgency, as we’ve only got a couple of days to sort 8 fields. MF399 is ready to go drilling and roller, and we should get all the crop in the ground on time. Made arrangements with my other Farm in Coldborough, Ross on wye, to borrow their 1660 combine for this autumn.

Got an even bigger loan. ($1,290,000 total)
Leased a John Deere 8370 RT to help out on the farm.

Image

And I bought field 32, which I combined with fields 30 & 31. This is a huge field now. Maybe, for the first time in my virtual farmer career, buy a Hatzenbichler Terminator TH18? 😎

Image

I would like to buy field 26 as well in the future so I can make this field even bigger.
Do you guys know if the dirt road between fields 32 and 26 can be plowed and turned into field?

Sold my Horsch seeder and bought the Hatzenbichler Terminator TH18.
Returned the 8370 RT and bought a 9570 RT to pull that Hatzenbichler.

Image

Nice combination. The new 18m seeder gets the job done a lot quicker than the 12m Horsch.

Harvesting with two combines now.
Goes much faster.

Plus I use a truck now to get my crops to the selling points. Also much much faster.

And back to seeding. Also with two machines to speed it up.

I have just repaid the last bit of my loan. So now Im debt-free. But will it last? The 15,3% interest rate is eating huge chunks of my cashflow so the smart thing to do is to save up instead of loaning. I have only one tractor, the MF 5613. Its to small for my farm, so I went to the store and borrowed a JD 6R. Hmm, that felt nice! I could easily save more than an hour on my next harvest with this one 😍😍

I started over, once again.

Lone Oak, this time with Case.
I own two Case Puma 240 CVX’s and one Case Optum 300 CVX.
My combine is a Case 9240.

Finished off the Power-harrowing with the 7499, with seven fields done in a few days.

Getting through the seeding at an excellent rate. Got the 399 on the keverneland drill cracking through this year’s seven fields. Hopefully saving the 8th for cover crop work, but if we get chance we will sort it for spring wheat this year.

Been over to mercury farms today ,ripped up those strips between the trees , then ripped the trees as well all bar one row then hit it with the Lemken gigant 12S 1600, straight in with the Pronto 9DC. With grass , with any luck that one mega field should fill my silage clamps up, just put the last bit of fert on now

Before I went over to mercury fms in the afternoon I spent a bit of time ploughing over some wheat stubble at medowgrove. Where we run 2 4wd 3080's &a 2wd 3090

Very much like I used to operate back in the day except my plough was a dp7 dowdeswell

My thoughts on the 3000 mod ? Rough as a bears bum & basic to be honest, but wouldn't swap them in for the world !

Just coming towards the end of our first year (late Autumn) currently.

Just purchased an upgrade tractor. Found a reasonable 1998 John Deere 6910.

Getting some cultivation done ready for some Winter Barley planting before it gets too cold.

Today they cultivated 107 hectares, four tractors worked (two John Deere and two Claas), they worked on lime and fertilizer processing, all the land was cultivated and ready for sowing.
