Just a splash of gas and then we head up north to take off the last of the corn and oats.

Started a new game on Greenwich Valley with seasons. Bought the cow farm up in the northeastern area of the map and a handful of fields around it. So far I have only one Claas Axion 810 tractor, a fertilize/lime spreader and a 6 furrow plough.

I’ve spread lime on all my fields and I’m now busy ploughing it in during the early spring:

Is it just me that find ploughing oddly therapeutic and relaxing? I guess so :hmm:

When the days get warmer I’ll start drilling with the Väderstad Rapid drill that I have placed an order for at the local dealership. Let’s hope it gets delivered in time :search:

No not at all I used to plough up to 1500 acres a year back in the day irl, bet theteputic & rewarding & a genuine buzz of satisfaction, on FS it's sort of the same, no matter how many cultivators I put on helpers I want to do the ploughing myself *thumbsup*
Swapped the tractor seat for a truck, 30 years later & still regretting it !

Last regular drive > FENDT 930 / 939 & Claas Xerion 3800

Bottomless money pit > David Brown 880
Should never of sold the MF168 !

Definitely not haha! Ploughing is my absolute favourite job on FS, and I would love to have a go in real life one day. I plough my fields on the West Coast in rotation, but with MR and Gearbox, the physics (eg how the tractor sinks into the furrow one one side) are top notch, making it so fun. I use a 5 furrow Kuhn plough on my Massey 7499 in game....

Just last night I told the wife we need a new tractor the old CaseIH has seen its better days. She said , "when cows fly". Well after I finished seeding I rushed home and said unlock the treasury - I see a new Deutz Fahr Series 9 in our near future!
