Yeah i did the same thing last time around. Start as New Farmer, sell everything, max out the loan gives enough to buy big no8 and the gear needed to harvest it.
Now I'm on seasons and am trying to be more legitimate and see if the starting farm can be made into something decent.

So I've sold all the starting equipment, except the silo which I kept, and bought no23. I expanded all 4 fields but stayed within the boundaries set by the existing dirt roads and paths.
I have an International XL1056 and a NHT6.155, all the usual smaller tools, a couple of smaller manure spreaders and a little solid spreader for lime and to beat out quick little fertiliser contracts. Onyl palceables are a trailer house and a manure import dump (possibly not realistic but whatever). All paid for either from starting capital or from logging the areas around the stsrting farm.

I'd probably enjoy this map more if the name didn't sound like a town in a Harry Potter novel.

Oh, and the surfboards.

^^ Agreed. However, I'm still playing this map solely. Waiting for MN Mill or Sugar Creek map to release. I have my main farm in field 9 and hog farm down at the south end of the map. Would be much better without palm trees, surfboards, and the rundown cartel compound, but hey, it grew on me.

What state is the sugar creek map based on? There is sugar creak next to me. I know there is one in Ohio and one in Iowa.

I thought I heard Illinois, but I may be wrong in that. FSClub has been talking a good bit about it on his YT channel though.

That would be pretty cool if that was the case. I believe FSClub said the modder was "HungryCowDesigns". I didn't have any luck when I looked on FB, but I wasn't looking real hard either.

Yiu need to weary of removing those trees that the processors don't support. It seems to mess with the physics of the game.

There is no redeeming this map. It *censored*. The main selling point of FS19 was "build your own farms." This map doesn't sell that at all.

Goldcrest Valley and Westbridge Hills were much better maps.

See pics above , I sold everything off & managed to build my own farm & create 3 decent sized fields helped by selling the timber from the trees I cut down & contracts I managed to get two case tractors old international combine, trailer & plough & drill, it's a slow process but thoroughly enjoyed building g my own place from scratch. 😎

Heads up, I didn't get a confirmation on Sugar Creek, but Lancyboi is making a map of Stone Ranch Valley that is in fact in Illinois.
