The farming simulator youtube account that posted that video replies "Next week? With a patch? Sound good?"

So unless Giants really wants to just mess with their fans I'd assume Seasons is coming to console next week

Well Giants didn't make seasons so it's not a gift from them the news is but not the mod

They said release early next week. Game patch will release first, as I doubt both would be same day my guess is patch release Monday, seasons on Tuesday or Wednesday, even though Wednesday is mid week.

If they are patching the game season’s will be in that patch for you guys as that’s how giants have to put seasons on console

Most of the popular maps on the mod hub are seasons ready bud. And most of the placable buildings have been seasons ready for a for time now. Admittedly some of the older might not be but to the most part you should be good to go once’s seasons drops

So is it the same a before where you can implement seasons on a existing save game? And a question for the pc guys....is the lighting improved with seasons? There are some great maps but for me they’re all to dark like Marvell manor for example

You can use an existing save but they recommend resetting the growth, crops etc so get harvesting before you activate.

The Patch and Seasons will both release on Tuesday at 10AM at the same time, unless something ~happens~.
Reason for that is, that you can't play Seasons without the patch.
