It's a configuration issue on the iOS backend. We're currently working on getting this fixed.

Are you maybe playing on a mobile connection? At the moment IAPs are only working over Wifi connections. This will be changed in a future update.

Goto the store (Basket icon top left). Should be the first option.

Is the switch version even supposed to have this? I'm new to the Switch but it seem to be a less common thing on this platform.
Considering that the Mobile (Android/iOS) version costs $6 and the Switch is $45 I would expect not to have to pay even more in the game. But it does make it harder to get going then you can't top off with more coins

Unless I'm missing something. I have setup Nintendo eShop so I can buy games but I don't have the Nintendo Online subscription if that would make any difference. FS20 is on a game card for me, didn't use eShop for this one.

I understand the Android/iOS version needs to be "hard" to incentivize people to top off with coins as IAP to profit. Would have been nice to give the "full paying" Switch game customers different game modes/difficult levels - one being the one now (same as Android / iOS I guess) and others with either more starting cash or a lot better pay for the crops etc. And yes, now - patch. Not FS 22.

I'm into a save game of 11h26m (had a few hours on another one but I aborted that due to buying a thing that wouldn't give me anything for a long time). Maybe I'm not that good but I try to maximize profit and wasting no time. The first harvester and case ih magnum has just under 10 hours engine time so they are working a lot.
Thus far I've only been able to buy field 4, the small AMAZONE planter, KUHN fertilizer spreader, TKD 302 trailer (the one next bigger than the starter), the corn header, recently a second small TX 32 harvester, and just like 40 minutes ago the KUHN DISCOLANDER XM 52 disc harrow (yes I've been playing with pain for 11 hours with only 3m working width implements). And yes - only the two starting tractors.
