The torture of buying lots of animals (PS4)

Post by RODHA »

In the below post, back in FS17 I mentioned this issue.

viewtopic.php?t=112844

If you want to buy animals in PS4 you have to click X once for each animal.
There is no quick way like pressing and holding the button or holding an analog stick to keep adding the animals.

In the above topic Lars said he will take this to the team.
What happened after that? I don’t know.
Lisertan wrote: Wed May 24, 2017 9:43 am I'll take that as feedback for our team :)
This simple to solve but extremely annoying bug (or lack of a feature) has not been solved neither in FS17 nor in FS19.

Now, as we know the next game is not close by any means, should we keep facing this torture or will there be a solution for it?

Actually the same goes with sorting the price list from highest to lowest. Another simple to solve but annoying bug (or lack of a feature).

I hope someone decides to do something on fixing those kinds of frustrations with FS19.

Really should have been in the basegame we have a mod for it on pc. A similar gripe of mine is when buying multiple pallets why can't you have the option too say how many instead of keep going back and forth buying one at a time.

We can select the amount of bales we want to buy. So it should be possible to do that for animals. I don't see, why not. It can only be a design-Thing or it was too late for fs19 to make it into the game.

Another thing id like to see in the basegame is the workshop tabber, which allows you to select what you want to repair when entering the workshop trigger and not have to disconnect multiple items first. It's the little things that can be improved upon which when you add them all up would make a big difference.

Totally agree with this and I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to change.
And that workshop trigger is a nightmare. If you drive a tractor and machine into the trigger area it would be nice if you could choose which ones you want to repair. Let’s hope the guys can look at it again.

Are you on console? If not the mod is out there it shouldn't have needed to be a mod though.

Somebody got defensive quickly. My finger usually doesn't get sore til I buy 6 animals. Maybe they can change so we can hire a worker to buys animals.

You can tab through the attachments and vehicles while in garage/workshop. When the interaction menu is up, use left and right on D pad to tab through all items attached to current tractor.

Perhaps it's done on purpose to stop console players buying too many animals?

But yes, the user interface in FS needs work.

I can highly agree on this. The whole interface from menus to everything else is made so that keyboard and mouse works fluidly. If you then use a controller its a nightmare from the map interface to the complete shitshow they did with the shopinterface. Its really nice to see vehicles in 3d but scrolling true the options to adjust a machine is a nightmare and a fail.
Fifty1990 is the gamertag on ps4. Farm on people *thumbsup*
