Forage harvester hitch

I know this has been talked about already, just looking to see if there has been any changes made on it? Or any mods to make them work with other wagons?

When I was running a large corn silage farm on ravenport. I was using the large sugar cane trailer. When it was full, I'd dump it to the side. Then use the big ropa conveyor thing (can't remember the exact name at the moment) to transfer from the ground to the 2 large sugar cane trailers being pulled behind a tractor using a dolly.

Might not be the most efficient way, but it work pretty well.

I also used the ropa when the silage was done fermenting. I would use it to load the sugar cane trailers back up to then wheel over and dump at the biogas sell point. Since it only takes so much at a time, I'd leave the trailer dumped while I do other things until it would empty. Then move the next trailer up, dump it and let it trickle out till it was empty. Refill and repeat.

I'm aware of that, and have said that. But with the T-rex out I was curious if something had changed or was available

What about that Krone weight for the Big X 1180? Can that do certain hitches? I was told it didn't do ball hitches, but I have a Meyer Tridem trailer with a slightly oversized circular hitch. Would take a screenshot, but I don't have access to FS at the moment

Actually alot of farmers around here hook a trailer directly to the harvester when first opening the field. In game i use a fliegel bull trailer from modhub hooked to the harvester. Once i have the field opened up i hire the ai for the harvester while i follow with a larger trailer. Sometimes ill connect the fliegel trailer to the harvester and let the ai fill that trailer while im dumping 1 trailer and just keep swapping trailers on the harvester

The good old days of 15. I got a Rostselmash forage harvester because it was the only one that could hook a dolly and then I'd put the Krampe SB semi trailer behind it. Got a lot of hectares covered that way until I did the math and figured 2 TMK's behind a Krone BigX not only gave me an extra 5,000l capacity, but a wider working width.

We all started somewhere.

I recently discovered the fliegl 2 axle dolly on modhub will connect to all forage harvesters on modhub , will also connect to the sugarcane harvester and along with the fliegl ass298 works really well to do harvesting yourself

I kinda wish they'd get rid of the hitches on the harvesters.

All I ever see is people trying to "game the system".
