Well done, a very successful harvest for you indeed.

Meanwhile, on my slightly different farm,

Oakfield Farn with Seasons, early Summer.
Got an early hey production done and lots of sileage fermenting both at the farm and at the BGA. Surprised to see the BGA didn't have a bunker so had to put one down myself. Sold some of the hey to the BGA but most is going to TMR production.
I now have two large grass meadows that need ploughing. They'll be prepared for an Autumn planting over the Summer.
My other two large fields have Wheat and Canola growing. Bit of a weed problem developing but I have no sprayer and my only tractor, a Fastrac 8330, can't take narrows so haven't made a decision what to do about that yet. Getting low on money, down to 20,000, but lots of produce to sell soon.
No animals yet, despite the cattle and sheep pens. I reckon they'll be in next year.

FarmCatJenkins wrote: Thu Mar 05, 2020 12:03 am Well our first harvest is done in Hazzard County. Not a bad haul. A lot of test crops to find out where I'll be focusing next year.

Approx. 132 arable acres
Spelt 64,008 for pig food
Sugar Beets 371,059 for pig food
Wheat 70,410 for pig food
Corn 183,095 for pig food and TMR
Soybeans 68,684 for TMR
Oats 92,755 for the flourmill
Canola 63,009 for test crop
Hops 62,843 for test crop
Cabbage 243,996 for test crop
Straw 1,200,000 roughly, for bedding and compost
Silage 1,800,000 roughly, for TMR and BGA feeding

Next comes late Autumn and Winter, which means lots of trees to cut and chip, and a lot of field combination.
Do you run a specific mod for tmr farmcat, or is that something to do with the map?

Its on the map. Hazzard County has a modded TMR production silo that take silage corn and soybean. And also has a silo that ferments your chaff. It’s nice too because it’s a separate mod so I can have it on any map now.

That mod makes a lot more real world sense to me than mixing your own tmr manually, assuming you're trying to run a decent sized operation. It still involves careful planning in the crop rotation given the choke-point of soy production.

I wonder if, since Gleaner is AgCO, that they could be in console. I’m on PC, but having it on ModHub would be awesome

I’ve played New Woodshire and it is a good American map with nice fairly square fields, and it has custom pastures added in

Yes, I think so. All besides the semis and the plastic ones like the grain dryer
