Finished up harvesting my corn and that's it for the year.

Bought my new baler and got to use it making the last corn stalk bales of the year.
Image
Finished up tillage after that.

Decided I wanted a little extra money so I took a couple silage baling contracts. Turned out to be more than I bargained for had to rent three balers and a couple nova cat mowers. Ended that two day project after baling 1,407 bales, Ish.

Yes that would have been awful, realism went out the window after about 400 and I just completely let auto load take over haha. I was getting desperate by the end to because I leased a second trailer so I could haul 100 at a time.

Tried the Gallignani baler, and this was my first attempt at hand stacking.

No. I just mowed the front yard and baled it. It was only something like 35 small ones

I realized that I was playing entirely too much FS19 for the last six weeks, so I decided to try something different. Now those darned Peggies are over running the valley and burning down people's farms and forcibly converting them to their doomsday cult, so I've armed myself with a fantastic assortment of firearms and have been almost single-handedly cleaning the reprobates out of the area. Makes a nice break from milking the cows and spreading lime...

My first year is just about in the books. Bought a three field parcel of land up north with two fields of corn, so getting the last of that harvested in the last day of late autumn. About 3 million liters of woodchips in storage for the price jump in winter. Took a leap and went to bank, got approved for a 2 million dollar loan and got a farm and about 100 arable acres at auction to start a pig operation. Now sitting around 300 acres of land to farm. Next year is going to be busy. Traded in my JD 6R for a brand new 8R and a Brent auger wagon. Also traded in my Case MX255 for a second JD 7R. Plus with crop profits I bought myself a 9R with a new Bourgault cultivator. Here's to hoping this doesnt come back to haunt me!
