Yeah, I have never understood the complaint on the horns. Tractor horns are weak. The only time I have use the horn is to get cows out of the way when feeding them or get the cats out of the way.Jagtractor wrote: ↑Tue Mar 24, 2020 4:03 am That's what horns sound like on tractors unfortunately. Big strong machines, Dinky little horn.
I have always wondered if it is industry standard or simply no manufacturer wants to bother putting in a big air horn.

For me it's because of previous installments. Even the little might schluter 1500 had a truck horn. I'm simply used to having big horns on big tractors.
Playing games because they are fun. Watching movies because they are entertaining.

Well my pickup truck has a bigger horn than my 8r. Also you can barely hear any horn inside the cab of the tractor.

Haha I don't think our 7800 one works anymore either.

Lol the one in the combine still worked after sitting over the winter last year with corn in it even though the mice ruined the speakers in the cab

Dang mice ruin everything. Not this year yet, but the winter before there mice chewed our row finder wires on the corn head.

Last year we were harvesting corn and the engine died (right next to the road of course) and this year the alternator quit harvesting underwater beans, so those were in the combine all winter... luckily we made it to the shed and we were using our smaller grain head...

Geez hopefully this year goes better. We're not off to a good start as it is wet again.
