Can I play with friends using ps4 when I'm on pc?

While trying to connect in multiplayer between Windows and MacOS we both received an error message saying that it was impossible connecting.
We tried hosting from the windows version and hosting from the MacOS version but nothing changed. Firewalls are deactivated on both systems the only thing that have drawn per attention is that the windows version of the game is 1.5.1.0 while the MacOS version is 1.5.2.0
Hopefully someone on this form know a solution for this, thanks in advance
