Re: Top Maps (Console Edition)
Tough to choose as there are a lot of good maps. But mine are, and in no particular order....
1) Minibrunn - Great small map with nice scenery. Generally my go to for a European style map. Has custom ground textures which I have become spoiled with when it comes to maps. Also added the propagating grass not to long ago which is nice.
2) Lone Oak - Large fields, great scenery and again, custom textures. Great map for pulling out the big machinery.
3) The Old Farm Countryside - I like the layout of the main farm. Also it has 4 additional crops to farm which is great for console players.
4) La Coronella - The non-seasons version has factories which nobody ever thought could happen on consoles. But Shaba has found a way. Also has the additional crops. This map is a real game changer. Even the seasons one has the ability to make compost. Was a little Rocky out the gate, but he has been busting his butt to get it perfect.
5) Any Alien Jim map - Level of detail and customization is great. I play on Sussex quite a bit, has nice scenery. Has a nice mix of small and large fields. Mercury farms is a great small farming map. With the ability to chose different parts of the map to make your base farm. His maps also offer the ability to sell water and air so you can make extra income.
I can probably rattle off a lot more. But these are the maps I've been playing on lately.

Re: Top Maps (Console Edition)
I'm a fan of the American maps, just because of the nostalgia they bring me.
1. Welker
2. Lone Oak
3. Dahl Ranch
Dahl was a nice surprise when it came out. I love how you can customize this map with your own farm site. And it's an excellent map to utilize the ground shaping and painting tools. I've had fun breaking up the large field and making roads through it, putting in a seed/fert plant, storage buildings, sell point, etc. This map is also the only one that I felt correctly replicated American road ditches and approaches. The layout of Lone Oak is really cool. Love the large fields and the home farm site. I also love the bit setups at the sell points, wish we could have those for our personal farms. Welker gets my #1 spot because of the crop textures it offers. I love growing corn and soybeans, so this map is really tough to beat for me because of the more realistic corn and soybean textures. The overall layout of Welkers is fairly boring, large fields with not much detail other than the replica farm site. But that's pretty much exactly what this part of Montana is like, so I'll credit the mapper's paradise for the realism. If other maps would implement the crop textures that are on Welker Farms, I would have Lone Oak be my #1.

Lol. Yeah, I remember that one. One of the updates reduced it, but still rained a lot.

Re: Top Maps (Console Edition)
I do wish there were more American style placeables ie: barns, sheds, silos (even if the dryer doesn’t work) bins to make use with the Augers
Re: Top Maps (Console Edition)
I couldn't agree more. I would love to be able to set up a leg system, or be able to use bins and augers.sittinhere wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2020 5:10 pm I do wish there were more American style placeables ie: barns, sheds, silos (even if the dryer doesn’t work) bins to make use with the Augers

@Bryan83 u guys get all the rain, we don’t get what you get in Seattle area lol. Out in Eastern WA it’s the middle of a desert, almost have to do a rain dance to make it patter. Then when it does rain, it always seems to be smack dab in the middle of chopping alfalfa

On medicine creek using 6 days seasons, it feels like it has rained just about every day on my second season.
1300 acre farm, finish out just about 10,000 hogs a year, 200 cattle, and xbox one and pc user.
