Straw and hay prices at $0

Post by dunnjob »

I am on PC, running seasons on two different maps and the straw prices and hay prices are at $0. I know seasons nerfed the price of these things, but I feel like I may have something wrong here. Anyone else having this issue? Not a big deal but I don't get any profit off selling my surplus hay every year and there is no point to baling straw other than for bedding (and I can get it a lot easier out of a "all in one" sell point for free. Grass is free too. Silage bales can still be sold for money, but that is all.

Any ideas of what might be causing this?

Baling Hay and Straw will give you money in Seasons. The price does not show up in the normal sell screen. If you look at the season screen on on best time to sell you will see when Hay and straw are at the best price. Loose Straw and Hay are worth nothing in seasons

The seasons economy page and the prices page aren't very "in sync" as they should be.

I always play on hard difficulty and I've had some of the best prices when the season economy said it was at its lowest as well as horrible prices when it said it was best time to sell.

Really can be confusing sometimes.

Well remember that the economy page on seasons isn't a forecast, but rather a previous years' historical report. So if you get a great demand, the next year it will show much higher than the actual trend.
