BBCode - Old version running here? - How to format text?

I thought I'd try to post some formatted text, but the options here seems very limited.

The only way I've found is to use the [code] tag.. However, when I do that, I lose the ability to do bold/italics/colors and everything else, and I get a window that cannot be resized within the post that just shows a few lines.

I see there should exist a [monospace] in BB code, and a [table] option which would allow some formatting without fixed sized font. But neither option seems to work in this forum.

What version BB Code is running? Is there any hidden option to be able to write a table without using [code], or to at least allow other tags within [code] ?

[font="Georgia"]Font doesn't seem to be accepted either sadly.[/font] Though I kind of expected that as fonts available might differ from computer to computer..
