AAA modding - John Deere 4755/4955

In my opinion, this is one of the best old-school tractor mods yet. It was already great, but now that my 4755 is on new Michelin rubber, it's perfect.

Now I have to convince myself that I need a second one on the farm. Probably in 2wd.

I would love to use the 40 series that BSM put out. I'm not knocking them in the least! But... With the 2wd, if you change from singles to duals, it changes the front tires from normal to wide. Since I change them for various jobs, that triggers my OCD. The other thing is the windows and doors. I can't put a front loader on it because the rear window opens when I use the frontloader.

Eh... I'll stick with the 55's for now I guess.

I love the 40 series. I am very thankful for them. But I like to turn up my surround sound when I play, and the engine noise from the 40 series is worse than nails on a chalkboard. So I have left the 40 series on TMR mixing duty. And I use the 55 series for grain cart and now planting.

That's what I like about them! But I also like the licorice flavor jelli-beans. I'm a weirdo.

I can't make myself run a 2WD version of this tractor. I've seen the 40 series on 2WD, but thinking about a 55 series on 2WD just looks weird. If anyone has run them 2WD, let me know, I'd be interested to hear how they run

Ha me too almost ! Couldn't find a map to host but have settled on Newpark Farm
& am currently running a mix of 40 & 55 series tractors but have also managed to wangle a 5730 in & maybe a 6120 as a loader tractor in time.
I even pulled out the 2266 combine from mod hub to join the fleet !

I rarely use JD on my saves as im not familliar with the newer stuff in real life but these 40's & 55's are my era & worth the slots for the brand

Just want a 4055 , 2850 / 3650 & an 1175 harvester now ................

Local dealer had to let my rear tyres down on the 4055 I used to drive else they couldn't get it in their workshop

I love this mod more than anything else in the game. In my opinion its perfect. There's literally nothing else i want in the game now. Got a 4955 on wide michelin's running my kuhn square baler, disc and seeder
