Brazil map

Post by eric21 »

Nice looking map, few new crops, crop textures and soil textures. However field 39 has no gate its all fenced off but u can squeeze small stuff in through the fence. Also the top of the map is very hilly so heavy machines will struggle to climb up.

So heres what I'll do, sugarcane and cotton I plan the flat part of the map in the south and some cereal crops. If you are doing crops in the hills, use the small combines or use small yet powerful equipment. It's do able but you'll have to plan which way to get to those fields

Yeah, found out the hard way about the northern part. Lol

But i am loving this map. Been waiting for another south american map for ever. But did not expect something as detailed as this. The fact that the rice fields can be flooded with water is awesome.

How do you fill and drain the rice fields? I can't find any triggers.

The triggers for the rice paddocks are the funny looking brick pillars at the ends of the fields. They have a water droplet icon on them and on Xbox you press "B" to activate them. The ground will go brown when water is in it, the back to a normal feild texture when there is it water.

There needs a geo for this otherwise if you use seasons you won't get cotton or sugarcane

There is a geo for it. It came out a couple weeks ago.

Do note this map does NOT have a seasons mask. Sure you can still use seasons just dont expect hay or straw to rot if left out. Just and FYI.

Also a bit about how large equipment would struggle in the north. Given the roads to get up there i don't see large equipment really being the intension on this map up there anyway. Big HP and 6M stuff at most is how I would see it used.

Absolutely incredible map.

And with the brazilian equipment mods that have been coming out lately it's like having another DLC for free right after the alpine pack.

I'm still not seeing them. I'm using the PC version of the map.

in the odd looking spots on the fence where a "normal" gates would be.. get really close and move around.. there is a trigger to "open" the gate.. it removes it to the side.. its actually really neat! took a minute to figure it out as the triggers r small

Still not seeing them. I've checked just about every crossroads where fields intersect. I've even tried starting a new game with no mods besides the map itself and still nothing.

OK, it took me a while to realize that the rice paddocks were the un-numbered fields on the western edge of the map.

Although, the rice can grow anywhere, and the other crops grow in the irrigated feilds. I like them because they are laser leveled (flat for realism). I grew rice in paddock 12 alright, does the water have a hidden benefit?
