That's not what you said is it, Eric. You said he walks away from modding and that is untrue. Stick to what you said. Do not start with adding ad-hoc strawman arguments.

You are wrong so retract your statement.

So you are using hearsay as facts then. If it's not something you know for a fact and is demonstrable then don't say it. It makes you come across as a trouble maker. Always remember just because someone says something doesn't make it true.

Well, this has become messy. Was really looking forward to this being released for console. Big fan of maps made by OxyD, don't know if it's because I'm from England but his style and extra touches just draw me into spending hours on them. Hope things can sort themselves out.

I believe all giants staff are required to speak German and English. Mods on consoles are still new, so its still a learning process for both parties
New as in over 3 if not 4 years?

And how do mods for console in those games relate to FS? Just because its novel in the console world doesn't mean GIANTS has no experience.
From what I can tell most of the testing issues are communications between GIANTS and modders.

This is a great question. Sadly I see that many of my European friends have a far better grasp of English than many of my neighbours in England.

I have over 1200 hours in FS19. Just over a thousand of those are on OxygenDavid maps. If Giants’ shortsighted, stupid “handling” of modders drives Oxy out, I am done. No more money. No more time. And most certainly active and strong recommendations and reviews against anyone wasting their money or time on anything from Giants.

Ok on a related yet unrelated note. Is it me or are most problems with the Modhub and modders miss/poor communication? That and some highly variable quality control. Probably should keep in mind that (I believe) the modhub testers are also GIANTS testers meaning that its more of a "whenever we're not busy" meaning if their busy QC slips but if nothing of GIANTS is getting tested then they can spend their time grammar checking translations.

GIANTS probably could do with a modhub revamp though. (maybe with some form of Beta/community PC testing to lighten the load of "Game doesn't load" errors.)
