Focus Home Interactive fined

EU handed out fines to Steam and 5 video game publishers for violating EU Policy. They blocked cross border sales in European countries. FHI was fined $3.5 million! This is not a good look. Think this will alter relationship with GIANTS Software?

Being that they are in the process of parting ways, I don't think that it'll affect Giants

I read that briefly in another post. Haven't been on this forum much lately, having a new child will do that hahaha! Wonder if this had anything to do with the "parting of ways". All speculation, of course.

I think it was Silver News on YT said for the next installment that Giants was going to self publish.

Sounds like the investigation has been occurring for a while so doubt it has anything to do with motivating GIANTS to part ways.

Giants announced early in 2020 during their Financial Meeting they were parting with Focus Home as they intended to become a self-publishing developer to obtain more control over their products, release dates, content etc This was one of the major factors in the decision to delay FS21 or whatever the next entry in the series is called as Giants want to wait until their contract with Focus Home is completely done at the end of Q1 2021.
