Please recommend a big 4x US Map
Please recommend a big 4x US Map
Hello virtual farmers,
this is just another thread asking for a map recommendation…
My new gaming laptop arrived and I want to start a fresh save on a new map. To try something new I`m looking for a US style setting. Until now I play mostly european maps
What the map should have.
- 4x Map with big fields (big starts for me with 15 to 20 hectare, up to 100 hectare)
- Full seasons support
- Maize+ Horse Extension (not mandatory, but nice to have…)
- Field shapes can be square or naturally shaped
- Hilly ground
- Multi terrain angles
- Multifruit
- Some space to place some buildings or build an own farm
- Don`t need GC productions, but if some are on the map it`s fine.
Any good ideas for me?

Have a look at Flint Hills.
Re: Please recommend a big 4x US Map
Thanks. Didn`t know that one, but the PDA looks very nice. Will give it a try this weekend.

I'd suggest taking a glance at Midtown USA as well. That map has been hands down my favorite on FS19 because of all the detail.

Medicine Creek

Here's another recommendation for Flint Hills. I've been playing it for several months now and am really enjoying it.
FS22 on PC and Xbox One
Re: Please recommend a big 4x US Map
Thanks, I found that one in my search this morning, but I was a bit concerned about the download size of 2.6 GB. Sounds for me like it`s badly optimized with a lot of unnecessary files.
But I will take a look to some YT-videos to check if it`s worth download it.
Looks also very interesting. I guess I will have a busy weekend testing these maps.

Ditto
My main save is on that map and has 450hrs+
Or Elkader by MRG Mapping. Stone Valley 4x isn’t bad but is a bit bland.

I recommend Canfarm.
It is technically based on southern Saskatchewan, but could easily be Montana, Wyoming, or North Dakota. It really feels like a big prairie farming region.

I found Oklahoma 4X v1.0 online somewhere. I'm no expert but it looks quite good to me.

Thanks for all your suggestions. Looks like I will go with Flint Hills for the moment.
What I`ve seen from this map so far is looking great and exactly what I was searching for.
Will check the other maps as well. Don`t heard of most of them yet.
