Consoles have 8GB for mods??!!

I was just checking out the mods. I notice at the top has over 8000MB,that's over 8GB for mods?? Honestly I haven't paid much attention to all the FS22 news or read every post about FS22 so maybe this is being talked about somewhere else. But this is news to me. Is this on purpose or a bug??

On the PS4 pro it only shows a %. I uninstalled all mods. I downloaded Italian demo and vorpumen rugen,they are a little over 1000MB and used 27%. So around 4GB?

At the moment, the mod space is limited to 4gb on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. On PlayStation the limit is 8GB. We are currently working on a change to hopefully allow up to 8GB on Xbox too in the future. That was the answer I got

But they don't say why it was limited. I reached out to xbox who confirmed its down to giants why they have limited the xbox consoles. In fs19 my mod space was at 100% very early on. I was hoping this wouldn't be the issue with fs22. I wish I would have got it for the ps5 now. A simple yes and this is the reason, would be great from giants. I've sent about 6 emails to them no reply. Messaged them no reply sent a twitter no reply. And to say they don't even answer there own forum. Maybe they don't think it's such a major issue. Equality guys.

From what I remember, fs19 explained that it was Microsoft that limited them with this 4Gb. They should make a statement, not so that a man buys a new generation fans to have a place like the old one. For them, only money is important and if something is wrong, they will not even answer it, it's true.

Becuse thats not something Giants can do.
Modspace is set by Microsoft and Sony
