How many tractors do you own?

I'm really getting into a game save right now for the first time. I built a farm on Elm Creek in the top right corner of the map. I bought some Angus calves and really giving it a go. Because there are so many cool tractors, I'm finding myself buying more tractors than I need. As of right now, I have:
Allis Chalmers 8550 - Jullian F Modding
John Deere 4955 - AAA Modding version
New Holland T4 series - Peppe978
International 1586 - Jullian F Modding
International 2+2 - EY Modding

More will be purchased. My only complaint with the game so far is that rock picking *censored*, lol. But it's got to be done. And no, I'm not turning off stones.

Hehe, you don't want to know how many tractors I'm running on my Elm Creek build but it's quite a few. Without counting I'd have to say it's about 12-14 and most of them have 20ish hours on them. I've got the big boys for the Bourgault Pack and the big (not mother bin) grain carts. I've got a couple of 6R's and 7R's for intermediate work like manure spreading, liming with the big spreader and so on. Then I have my 6M's from Blueagean (Spelling?) for bailing mowing and mulching and light field work and animal care.
I could probably cut that number down a bit but I now (finally) own 3/4's of the map which is why they all have so many hours on them.

P.S. Turned rock picking off a while ago as it quickly lost it's appeal as you've found out lol.

Since I started play FS with FS19 in 2021,my go to tractor is the Fendt 1050,standard or modded version.It pretty much copes with anything and has a 39mph top speed,I usually have 2 or 3 1050’s,and maybe a 942,as it’s a bit smaller but still does 39mph.But I’ve got right into the Big Bud 747,the mod you can paint.28 mph top speed and looks and sounds good.So generally I have 3 or 4 Fendts and maybe a smaller tractor/loader.I wish you could carry your tractors over with each map/new save like you can your character,I’d have 1000’s of hours on a Fendt 1050 now.

I have a big chunk of the SE corner of the Frankenmuth map going. Roster:
Basegame MT1167: Just because it's cool. Testing big drills, Demco 1300, big slurry wagon. Tractor overkill!
Basegame 1050: Same, my favorite tractor. Swaps roles with the MT.
Siid's JD 8RX 410 with the ExactRate fert tanks, pretty much permanently hooked to the JHHG 1775NT planter.
Basegame MF 8S 245: Utility infielder- spray, spread, Bourgualt 8m seeder. This is probably my 2nd favorite tractor.
Basegame MF 3670: Other duties as assigned. Water and supplies for my greenhouse operation, yard dog duty, etc.
I'm waiting (patiently?) for a good self propelled sprayer w/ spot spray and a drybox and sensors, at which point I'll retire the 3670 and use the 8S for yard duty. Will it be red or green?

I occasionally lease tractors I think are cool just to try them out, and I am still leasing big drills to test. Ran the smaller Bourgault and the Seed Hawk, not sure what's next. I like the look of the big articulated stuff, but I don't like driving them in-game. Seems odd that that the rear unit of the tractor can swing an implement around- am I correct in thinking that only the front should pivot when hooked to a tool?

On my mainsave on Calmsden I started out with a MF 3690 and MF 3120. Used the big one for tillage, seeding and carting, the small one for most other things.
The 3120 has since been replaced with a Ford 7810 Turbo, by far my favorite tractor in the game. I've been dreaming about a good 7810 in FS for many many years, great to finaly have one.
The 3690 is great, but will be replaced with Farmari99's Valtra T190 when it's released

I usually have only 2 tractors, an old one and a modern one. I don't know, but I see it more realistic... For small or medium farms, of course.

They feel right for a small starting out farm but I'm planning on running the gauntlet over time. So far I'm not sure if stone valley even has my interest and I'm content on Elmcreek. Built a custom house setup beside the starter barn.bought a plethora of fields surrounding and joined them together. Hoping for a big harvest and have my bin site setup for year 2. Planning on doing a smallish dairy around the home farm over time and have a second farm for beef down the road. I've never ever ever played with anything much bigger than the white tractors we had on fs19. I kept holding out for the next big map and or mod and was starting to gain some ground on griffin but then news of autodrive for console 22 and screenshots made me take a big break and play some other games in my library. I wanna grow and hopefully if they fix the contracts get into big machine custom harvesting down the road. So many good rigs in my mods folder waiting to be used

It’s not quite as dramatic as it can be at times on fs but yes an articulated tractor more so pinches together rather than just turns so you can move whatever you’re hooked to.

My current lineup is made up as four tractors

Ji case 2594-my largest tractor for all my tillage

Case Ih puma 185-my main working tractor does most everything from planting to bailing and spraying

Ih 1086-yard tractor and fills in when the puma is busy

Ford 8n-utility tractor rakes and teds a lot of hay runs augers and pulls rock wagons

Bobcat S76-heart and soul of my ranch, feeds basically all my animals, moves snow, picks rock, grubs trees, you name it and it’s probably parked nearby and gonna be used for it

Yamaha dirt bike-marks out courseplays fields and is a great way to check out a property, especially before buying

Still have the original 714 Fendt on calmsden but made it a 718. Then traded the 2 6250r's for a another Fendt 930, was getting up to 30 hours on the 718 but started a new save when the map updated and PF came out.
