Griffin Indiana 22 Support Thread
Re: Griffin Indiana 22 Support Thread
Update:
I have submitted the map to Giants for testing, Thanks to everyone for all of the feedback and help.
I am really happy with the end result.
More good news, The map is going to be early previewed by ARGSY GAMING and will be posted on the website https://www.argsygaming.com/
He does some top notch videos, so I'm excited.
This will hopefully hold everyone over until it passes Giants testing.
Thanks again everyone and hope all goes well.

Yes he does. Between him and Farmer Klein I spend more time watching maps then playing them I think. I think Farmer Klein did an entire series on Griffin 19 if I remember right.ajFarmer wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 9:12 am

I wonder who I'd have to venmo over there at Giants to fast track this baby to the top of the list. I cannot wait!
The facts, although interesting, are irrelevant.

I regard any other mod submitted in the past 48 hours to be part of a DDOS attack on Griffin fans...

It’s a long shot but man it would be great if it came out before the weekend. No kid at home this weekend means lots of FS time for meeeee.
I won’t get my hopes up but…a guy can dream.

Not trying to ruin your dreams, but let me drop the other shoe for you lol. I'd buy a Powerball ticket and have better odds of winning over having griffin this weekend ....or the f350. At least AJ is very timely and efficient and getting the corrections resolved. Also, hope I'm wrong but I'm feeling confident in my assessment lolNotoriousWeber wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 11:11 pm It’s a long shot but man it would be great if it came out before the weekend. Re: Griffin Indiana 22 Support Thread
Farmer cop also did a farming series on griffin Indiana think he did something like 40 or 50 episodes.
Re: Griffin Indiana 22 Support Thread
Not in testing this week, maybe next. Gives me time to sort out mods and plan equipment goals for a $0 start. I wonder how the contracts will pay, don't care for treework.
Re: Griffin Indiana 22 Support Thread
@Jason77- The contract prices are vanilla.
I thought I would share my simple $0 Start Rules
Rules:
1. Can not borrow equipment for contracts
2. Can only lease attachments for 3 point or loader and must return same season
3. 10% loan fee plus daily interest. 20% penalty if not paid in one year. 1 loan per year
(First Griffin Bank are loan sharks)
4. One starting helper then I must buy a house lot in town for each additional, kind of like a starting bonus
(requires ContractorMod)
5. If I buy motel or campground spot it cost $250 per day for rent
Game Settings:
HARD difficulty
3daysMonth 5x Speed
Mods I use to help with rules:
Easy Dev Controls by GtX -For loan fee or rent charges
Placeable Pack Farmhouses by ALiEN JiM- Door map for motel, Tents for campground, and Log house for starter farm
ContractorMod by yumi- Right now only available on his github.
A lot of small equipment to start
Notes:
The loan rules really make me think about how much I may need for current year if any.
My goal with above rules are to make it a struggle but still have all options available.
Mainly to force a slow build up.
I need self imposed rules or I will abuse it

Re: Griffin Indiana 22 Support Thread
I love the ContractorMod also. I am married with 4 children and will configure the characters to match my family. It definitely adds to the gameplay. I run a fairly hardcore start from scratch also.
Re: Griffin Indiana 22 Support Thread
Excellent! I will go grab the ContractorMod. Thanks!ajFarmer wrote: ↑Fri Aug 12, 2022 11:58 pm @Jason77- The contract prices are vanilla.

Testing list updated and Griffin is on it. Here's hoping just a few more days.
