Xbox Multiplayer Connection Issue

Hello!

I am new to FS22, and am simply trying to play online with a fellow Xbox user, but when I'm within a hosted session, the option to "Invite Friends" in game is not functioning even though there is a prompt for it (Click right stick).

I also am not able to invite anyone in my friends list into my game via the Xbox menu either which is kinda goofy.

I saw that this complication may be a difference in game version compatibility that I may be over looking but there is only one option of game that I see on Xbox Game Pass available for download.

Any help would be awesome. Thanks!
