Hi everyone at Giants Software & The wider farming addicted community
I just wanted to as if there’s any news on the development of the next Farming Simulator title?
If you guys are working on it or planning it…I only ask for 2 reasons,
1) I LOVE the series
2) I’ve claimed every achievement on every title and I’m still thoroughly obsessed and can’t wait for the next edition!!!

No, its not early to ask such question.
I am also very curious about next FS development and new game engine/ new gameplay features, realism, etc, etc, etc... so many questions.

Well, we do know there won't be one this year.....
Might get some news around farmcon later this year though.

Wait, so they are not releasing one this year? Are they doing the 3 year cycle like they did after 19? Maybe it's just me but I feel the game's dying as soon as news starts swirling about the next game . I'm pretty content with this version I just want The Mods to keep dropping.

This game was supposed to be FS21, but got postponed to FS22. So at a minimum it's gonna be a FS24.

They never really said exactly how long but they said not like it was before. So basically the two year is out the window and it’s probably three but who knows, maybe with the new season pass setup we’ll see four or more.

In FS17, the community discussed moving from 2 yr cycles, I guess Covid forced that in FS19 for FS21. Either covid forced it or the discussions back in 2016 came to fruition.

Never too soon to ask IMHO. I was wondering myself, the day after 22 dropped.
If they found some staff, they could provide for this new season pass, and start working on the next iteration at the same time.

Should not worry about that, they have just released season two seasons pass.... so we'll be getting more dlcs this year, and with them stretching until next winter, I doubt they will release the next fs version in time for next Christmas
