Hey Giants, John Deere A
Hey Giants. I am a fat, 45 year old American. Because I am overweight, I might die sooner than later. Because of this, can you make testing the changes to the John Deere A from EY modding a priority? I know you won't, and I'm only joking. I cannot wait to play with this tractor on Console. It has been a dream of mine since the trailer in August of 2019, when the video revealed the lovely yellow rims of a John Deere to be licensed in the game.
To the Mod testers, keep up the good job. You guys are awesome.
And to the modders as well.

EY modding's next project is a John Deere 4020. They have quite an amazing collection of modded tractors for FS22. Amazing.

Sure miss my granddad and that 4020 we had, even when the starter went out and we had to pull start it for months until the cotton sold.
This is next level nostalgia for me.

Re: Hey Giants, John Deere A
100% agree. The 4020 and a poppin' johnny I felt were the two top machines i always wanted on console for Farming Simulator. I would for sure donate to any modder willing to take on an older Gleaner or 95 John Deere Combine. Giants is missing the boat by not doing older american equipment DLC's.ValhallSN95 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 1:58 am4020...on console...my dreams are coming true...chedly_farms wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 6:42 pm EY modding's next project is a John Deere 4020. Re: Hey Giants, John Deere A
I'm not sure how I feel about the Model A, while it was the first tractor my granddad bought to start his farm after WW2, and he (and I starting in '95) continued to use it for his garden until 2000, when it tipped over on my great granddad after which my granddad cut it up.
For me it will be bittersweet seeing one and using one in FS.

Re: Hey Giants, John Deere A
That's why I prefer the longer gaps between games. Seemed like that extra year on 19 gave us so many more old iron options. The White tractors and 86 series seemed to springboard onto 22. I still miss the Massey kick baler and bale trailers

Instead of quoting each post in this thread, I’ll just say I agree with everything being said here. I grew up with larger equipment in the family, but I sure love the old small stuff being brought to consoles!

Hopefully it goes put put.
1300 acre farm, finish out just about 10,000 hogs a year, 200 cattle, and xbox one and pc user.
