Farming Simulator 23 (Switch)

Post by SteveValek »

:hi:

Anyone else who bought Farming Simulator 23 on Switch and feeling let down?

Opinions?

For me and 5 hours in,

Who on earth thought it was a great idea to implement a time frame of 1 day= 1 month!?
How does the logistics work with working on multiple fields? I've literally sowed a field overnight and seen 2 stages of crop growth in an hour?

Then you could say... There's Al workers but they cost. And let's get to finances...

No rent option

No loan option

No side missions

How are you expected to "grind" fields, build up your crop storage and eventually afford new equipment on such a ridiculous time frame?

I'm literally hoping that the setting "Real-time" adds some sense and stability here, but with this version costing me £40, I expected something at the very least, to be balanced...

Praying for updates and patches

Anybody found any more issues I've not mentioned?

Most of the large equipment like the John Deere are looked behind a paywall as far as I know.

Have tried to adjust the time scale so you can do more during a "day"?

Don't start planting a field if you can't finish before midnight.

Everything is available on the Switch version from the beginning.
It also costs a lot more than the android and iphone versions though.

Ah, thanks I thought Switch users would have the same problem as those mobile users.

I didn’t know anything about this until I read your previous comment and yeah, that’s pathetic. Basically a paywall on anything big on mobile.

Don't be surprised if somebody comes along and labels you "FarmBoss" for having a negative experience. God forbid you have an opinion and not be jumping with joy over your purchase.

Yes, I'm playing with fingers crossed at "Real-time" setting and so far so good.
Still begs the question on why default time is insanely too fast though..

And I'll seed fields before midnight...👍
