Potato harvester wears down rapidly [Win10]

My potato harvester wears down after just a few minutes of work.

It was 100% "health" when I started working this field.



A known bug or a local problem at my end?

Must be a local problem. I have used it a couple of times recently, and haven't had any issues regarding the wear.

BTW ...

As I recall it potato fields usually have a different ground texture than what I got !?
I´m not getting the "lines" that is typically created by the potato planter



Could the game be taking this in to consideration when calculating the wear?

Yeah, in lack of a better description, I would say the texture should look as a plowed field, when planted with potatoes. But I have no clue if that has anything to do with the wear.

Is it the only machine that wears out that fast?

At the moment no issues with other machinery (as far as I can tell) ...
(I´m guessing I will know when it´s time to harvest the beets as that machine is the most similar to the potato harvester.)

Dirty fix ...
I have installed a mod that allows me to exceed the "in game harvest speed" (so I can "bypass" the issues that comes with running a machine on 0% health) ...

Had a look at other potato fields (that I do not own) on the map and these had the correct ground texture.
